The project moves from rough studies to more defined silhouettes, showing the creature at different stages: from egg, to ancient archdragon perched on a crumbling rock pillar, to a young adult with heavy, mineral-like armor and crystalline spikes. Detailed linework emphasizes weight, texture and anatomy, while the final color pass adds iridescent metallic hues to suggest living stone and enchanted metal fused into one massive, imposing dragon.
